Angelic and ethereal, the Daphne corset is made from the fabric from the most gorgeous pair of vintage champagne pink gold satin brocade curtains. As this is a vintage fabric, the exact composition is unknown, but it is likely to be a cotton polyester mix. The side panels are in a high quality deadstock satin back crepe fabric, with a 100% cotton lining, and ribbons made from recycled plastic bottles!
Fully interfaced, lined and boned with rigilene polyester boning, these corsets have the perfect structure to cinch you in and push you up in all the right places. Adjust the ribbon at the straps for a full blown maximum cleavage look or a more modest, covered version, whichever you prefer!
Daphne is customisable, choose to have her with or without the white lace trims, and choose between cream, white or pink ribbons!
The corset will be completely made to your measurements, so each one is completely unique. To accurately measure yourself, please measure the smallest part of your waist (just above your belly button) and the widest part of your chest (across the nipples).
Your corset will be made a few inches smaller than your measurements so that you are able to pull the lacing tight, if you would prefer a looser fit, please add this in the notes.
The corset will be made to order by our small team of seamstresses in Manchester, UK, so please allow 6-8 weeks for the processing and making of your order before dispatch.
The exact colour of the fabric may differ slightly in person than what is seen on the screen, but effort has been made to capture as true an image to the real colour as possible.
We do not claim these corsets to be traditional or historically accurate corsets in any way. They are historically inspired and are designed as a modern fashion corset top. They are not designed to be worn daily as underwear or used for waist training purposes. Due to the nature of vintage textiles and hand made garments, slight imperfections may be visible.
RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY
Returns are only accepted if there is a manufacturing fault with the garment. This does not include minor aesthetic imperfections.
Once you have received your order, you have 14 days to make a return. You can do this by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org with your order number and the reason you would like to make the return. The cost of postage for returns is the responsibility of the customer and original postage costs are not refunded. Returned items should be packaged in original condition with the original labels.
As all items are custom made to order, I do not offer any exchanges for different sizes. Please make sure to include correct measurements when purchasing.
The corsets should not be washed often, but when they do need washing, use a delicate non-bio detergent and a damp cloth to spot clean any stains, and gently clean the lining where contact with the skin has been made.
If you think your corset requires a deeper clean, it is suitable to be put on a cold wash delicate cycle in the washing machine, using a delicate non-bio detergent. This should NOT be done on a regular basis, and only if your corset has stains that can’t be removed through hand washing. Make sure all ribbons are removed before putting in the washing machine.
DO NOT TUMBLE DRY. Hang in a ventilated area or lay flat to dry. When ironing, use a cooler setting and place another fabric or towel over the corset to protect from the heat. Please be mindful that the corsets contain plastic boning, and some corsets contain synthetic fabrics and vintage fabrics with synthetic fibres, which may be damaged if exposed to too high a heat.
Hang the corset after each wear to air it out and preserve the shape.
