The Red Toile mini skirt is made from a vintage toile de jouy curtain, as this is a vintage fabric, the exact composition is unknown, but it is likely to be a cotton polyester mix. The lining is also a cotton polyester mix, and the skirt has a slightly a-line shape and micro mini fit, (model wears a skirt with 32cm length).

The skirt is finished with an eyelet and burgundy velvet ribbon closure, you can choose to have this as a single closure or a double closure, with eyelets and ribbons on either side of the front!

This skirt is made to your measurements, please include your waist, low waist and hip measurements!

waist - measure the circumference of your waist around an inch below your bellybutton.

low waist - measure the circumference of your low waist around 10cm below your bellybutton.

hip - measure the circumference of your hips at the widest part, over your bum.

If you would like any adjustments to be made to your skirt, for example adding a few extra inches to the length or a lace trim, please get in touch before placing your order!

The exact colour of the fabric may differ slightly in person than what is seen on the screen, but effort has been made to capture as true an image to the real colour as possible. Due to the nature of vintage textiles and hand made garments, slight imperfections may be visible.

  • Returns are only accepted if there is a manufacturing fault with the garment. This does not include minor aesthetic imperfections.

Once you have received your order, you have 14 days to make a return. You can do this by emailing with your order number and the reason you would like to make the return. The cost of postage for returns is the responsibility of the customer and original postage costs are not refunded. Returned items should be packaged in original condition with the original labels.

As all items are custom made to order, I do not offer any exchanges for different sizes. Please make sure to include correct measurements when purchasing.

  • The skirts should not be washed often, but when they do need washing, use a delicate non-bio detergent and a damp cloth to spot clean any stains, and gently clean the lining where contact with the skin has been made.

If you think your skirt requires a deeper clean, it is suitable to be put on a cold wash delicate cycle in the washing machine, using a delicate non-bio detergent. This should NOT be done on a regular basis, and only if your skirt has stains that can’t be removed through hand washing.

DO NOT TUMBLE DRY. Hang in a ventilated area or lay flat to dry. When ironing, use a cooler setting and place another fabric or towel over the corset to protect from the heat. Please be mindful that the skirts may contain synthetic fabrics, which may be damaged if exposed to too high a heat.

Hang the skirt after each wear to air it out and preserve the shape.
